For the first time this year, we are not holding the event in a hotel, and instead are at the SFU Harbour Centre. There are several different hotel options, all listed below. Please note, the deadline to book a room is February 20, 2019. However, more people are booking this year than in previous years, so it would be best to book as soon as possible to ensure you get the group rate.

Option One

We have a room block with the Delta Hotels Downtown Vancouver Suites, which is literally across the street from our new venue, and a three minute walk from the Waterfront Station. Our group rate is $199 plus tax for a suite with 1 King and Sofa Bed, or $219 plus tax for two Queen Beds.

From the hotel regarding accessibility:

  • At the hotel, we have a limited number of accessible rooms available upon request so if one of your guests requires an accessible room, please advise them to contact us to look into availability for them.

  • Please advise your guests it would be best for them to enter the hotel via our Seymour Street entrance as the West Hastings Street entrance involves walking up a flight of stairs to reach the hotel’s lobby level.

  • All guestrooms are accessible via the hotel’s elevator

Option Two

The second option is the Victorian Hotel, which is a 4 minute walk from the venue. It is a beautiful old building with some very neat rooms, and one of the best values at $104 TO $154 plus tax per night. Some of the cheaper rooms do share a bathroom, so make sure you double check this when booking.

**Please note: this hotel has no elevator, and will not be accessible for everyone. You can request a room on a lower floor, but there will be stairs.**

We do not have a room block, but they guarantee the best rate if you book directly with them, rather than through a site like Expedia. They only have 47 rooms total, so please book soon if this is the one you'd like.

Option Three

The third option is the Ramada Limited Downtown Vancouver. We don’t have a group rate with them, you can book directly through their website. It is slightly cheaper than the Delta, and still very close to the venue, only a 3 minute walk.

They do have accessible rooms. From their website:

Our Wheelchair accessible rooms have 1 Queen bed.
